It’s been over two years in the works, but on Monday the newest Small Food Business book will be published and available on Amazon. It’s focused exclusively – absolutely everything you need to know! – on how to sell wholesale.What’s more, the book doesn’t just look at your traditional retail channels like supermarkets, but talks about the different types of channels available to food producers including things like hospitality and catalogues and the specifics you need to know about each. Not to mention, there are chapters focused on co-packing, food brokers, and how (and when) to work with distributors.
You’ll definitely hear more about it next week but in the meantime, if you’re interested, there’s a Facebook contest underway for a free copy of the book. Just leave a comment (simply saying ‘hi’ is enough!) in the contest’s comments section and you’ll be entered to win a free copy of Getting Your Specialty Food Product Onto Store Shelves. 3 winners will be chosen at random and copies of the book will be mailed out to them by the end of July.
