Artisan Goody Giveaway – Introducing Handmade

You may recall that one of the reasons for this Artisan Goodies Giveaway Week was that my new book – Handmade – is being released this week on Amazon.com.  As such, it only makes sense to end the giveaway week by offering up some free copies which features the entrepreneurs (and others) you’ve been introduced to over the past few days.  Today, I have three copies of Handmade: How Eight Everyday People Became Artisan Food Entrepreneurs And Their Recipes For Success up for grabs!

Real-Life Recipes For Small Food Business Success

It takes more than just good ingredients to start and run an artisan food business.  In addition to doing the actual cooking or baking, food entrepreneurs are responsible for hundreds of decisions that impact the future of their business.  From which marketing tools are best to how to increase operational capacity to dealing with government regulations and oversight to make everything work within a limited budget, the sheer number of decisions can seem daunting at times.

HANDMADE is like the advisory council food entrepreneurs wish they had.  Based on in-depth interviews with eight food artisans from a diverse range of backgrounds, this book shares with readers the triumphs and challenges these entrepreneurs have faced.  Each entrepreneur’s story includes practical tips and tactics they’ve used to help their day-to-day business grow.  These real-life recipes for success will inspire you to start your own small food business or provide you with the guidance and new ideas you seek to take your company to the next level.

HANDMADE is now available at Amazon.com for $8.89.  If you prefer ebooks – a Kindle-friendly version should be out in a few weeks.

Goody Giveaway Rules:

Everyday will feature a different giveaway.  In order to be eligible you have to either comment on this site*, “like” the post on Facebook, or email me at info (at) smallfoodbiz.com (dot) com that you want to be included.  You can enter as many times as you want and as many days as you want.  Winners for each day will be drawn only from those who liked/commented/emailed for that specific item.   Winners will be announced on Friday April 6th via this site and Facebook.  Winners are responsible for getting in touch with me and sending me their mailing addresses.  Sadly, because food is hard to get across borders, only US residents are eligible (sorry!).

* Just a reminder that there may be a delay between when you post a comment and when it actually shows up.  This is so that I can check and delete out the SPAM comments.  As long as you’re not SPAM your comment will be shown – promise!

This giveaway is now closed.  Stay tuned for future giveaways though!
