The Worst Food Product Launch Of 2013

failureWith the goal of keeping it relatively light since week since most folks are still mentally – if not physically – on vacation, I thought it would be fun to take a look at what was the worst food product launch of the year.  This one was so bad in fact that it not only wins the top spot for food, but it’s also on several lists as one of the top ten worst product launches, regardless of category, this year.  Take a peek, if you dare…

Is your mind as boggled as mine is?  Really…someone at Nabisco actually thought Watermelon Oreos would be a good idea to bring to market?  Did no one test market these before they launched?

Listen, I am a rabid watermelon fan.  In fact, I have a Summer tradition of eating one watermelon a week when they’re in season.  But watermelon Oreos…I simply can’t wrap my mind around that one.
