As I mentioned in a recent webinar and in the 2015 Plate of the Union report, the Millennials are proving to be a major buying of specialty foods. According to a report that the Specialty Food Association developed in combination with Mintel Research, 70% of Millennials said that they’ve purchased specialty food in the last 12 months which is more than any other age group.
