Word of Mouth advertising is what we all aspire to have. It’s been proven over and over again that word of mouth marketing is THE most trusted advertising out there for a company or brand. Of course, the problem is how to actually get people to start talking about you in a positive and authentic way. Any attempts to make people talk about you is oftentimes seen as a bribe and, not surprisingly, doesn’t go over so well with your customers. So what can you do?

I realize that this isn’t simple or easy to achieve, but by setting out to exceed their expectations you are creating a business culture that people want to talk about.

It’s important to note that exceeding customers’ expectations doesn’t happen on a whim. This should be a strategy you devise in and of itself on how you can go above and beyond to surprise and delight your customers in each interaction they have with your business.

You won’t get it 100% – none of us can achieve perfection. But we can strive towards being the type of company that customers want to talk about in addition to have products that they want to share with their friends.
